Us

At Hokkaido Horse Rides, we own upwards of 100 acres for our animals to gaze in. Most of the areas in our pastures are wooded with bamboo trees and shrubs, a few small streams that form into ponds, and several hills overlooking Mt. Yoichi-dake (余市岳); which is the highest mountain in the Sapporo district.

We are nestled in the mountains, in the Otaru Highlands, surrounded by lush greenery. You will find our farm. We have been operating for 8 years and strive to showcase Hokkaido's beautiful landscape. We aspire to connect with nature, share in outdoor adventures, relax in the calmness, and spend time with the horses and ponies. Whether you are visiting in winter for the world's best powder, in summer for a quiet mountain retreat, or simply passing through, enjoying the National Highway of 393, there is always an exciting and refreshing experience waiting for you here.

Though some of our team are retired, they still roam around enjoy being brushed, petted, and eating snack from visitors.
